Sometimes Chris was sending his parents some money he earned, always from an untraceable sources. After working like that for 2 years, he got himself a small fortune, which he spent buying more rifles, one of which was AS-50, and Uzi SMG. He didn’t feel especially good or satisfied about his job, he just didn’t care about the killing. Which made him stronger after the Invasion has happened, that he was quite ready to face. While everyone around was dying, he was fighting off all the invaders, until military came. Then Chris ran away, to hide in one of his hideouts. He couldn’t leave the place, as everything around was scouted by dozens of aliens. Chris could’t shoot, as he would’ve caused too much noise which would be deadly for him in such a situation. So, he decided to wait there, for some time being.
There, he was sitting for three weeks, hungry as the food he had saved there was almost depleted, water was running low, city water-supply network got corrupted and stopped being filtered. Those were the most devastating three weeks of his life. Chris had to rethink all his life choices, he realised that he is an inexcusable criminal that got several people killed and that killed way more than that. He was left alone in this world, with no family and friends. When he was at the verge of ending his life, something broke into the basement. That was one of the aliens.

Chris shot it, realizing that he had probably exposed his position and that he will die. So, he laid on the floor, ready to shoot everyone that comes here down. He killed nine of the aliens, after which he realized that was all - he killed everyone that was scouting the street around. Chris laughed, loudly, with a mad laughter, got up and continued his new journey, being reborn, or at least being on his way of retribution through the collective action he would take in the future, helping every survivor around and being helped by them in return...
