Sally Roberts was born in South Dakota, USA. She was studying in The University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine when The Invasion happened. Sally got her nickname for her outfit and for her habit or collecting different items she found, using them for different needs, mostly in a field of experimental medicine. Even though she couldn't make it to the end of her university, she still wanted to be a doctor and help others, at the same time improving her professional skills.
Later, when she joined a group of other stalkers, they teached her how to use some weapons, light ones, mostly. She, on the other hand, helped them not only with healing some small injuries, but also explained some details about different gasmasks and how exactly they work. During that time, she continued to study for herself, reading all medical literature she found to be useful. Sally learned how to perform easy surgeries and, coupled with all her previous skills and knowledge, became a very valuable asset for her team
