It had been months since Ripple and Riggie started traveling together.
About two weeks in, Ripple was visited randomly by Kale; her friend whom she hadn't seen in years.
She was mad at him, but he explained what had happened, and suddenly it made sense.
And he wanted help. Sold into slavery, this was the only chance he would even have again of passing his genes.
So Ripple got pregnant by him.
Four months later came the seed.
And now, about two months after that, they had reached the point where they would start climbing the Uku mountain rage-
the hardest part of the journey.
But just then, something caught Ripple's eyes in the distance. A village was forming.
She could barely make out zoites bustling around and getting things done,
and what tied the knot was the air blimp,
heading towards the construction,
straight from Shevoria.
What was happening?
Could they all be moving?
That's exactly what it looked like...
and knowing both Ripple's family and Ripple's friends,
they'd all be in the midst of the action.
They'd all be helping build that new city.
It was time to change course,
and thank goodness.
