Description
(This happened in the group's past. It is not currently happening.)

"Think about the enemy," a memory of Illias' voice echoed through his own head. "We have to assume they are the top of their game, and way better than us."
"This is insane," Riggie muttered. "This is the royal family. If they're as big and scary as we think, they'll be watching our every move. And if we all disappear-"
"Yes that's why we've sent them off course," Illias replied, correcting the conversation. "We've talked about lots of different plans in places not too obvious but open enough that they could be heard. We're going on vacation. And we sent look-alikes."
"Lookalikes might not be good enough..." Rosea moaned. "Wouldn't they notice it's not us?"
"We don't know how much they really know. We've been careful to keep all the normal knights and council members In the castle while we're 'away.' Hopefully word has just spread by mouth and they won't really know the difference. The lookalikes are on a secluded island, anyways. They can see from a distance that they went there but they won't be on the island to check the facts. Now," Illias postured, "Think About the Enemy. We cannot assume that they are weak, or not as big as we think. Any conspiracy no mater the size is a threat to the kingdom and azoite kind. So try to focus. We know where their base is, supposedly. And we've thrown them off our tracks and have been careful to not let them know we know anything about them. So what needs to happen? We must work in teams to surround their base, narrow them down, capture as many as possible, and most importantly, capture the Empress. Her name is Empress Ophella. Listen carefully for her and remember the hand signs we practiced to direct our teams to corner and suppress her..."

Illias' memory was interrupted when Axel's arm bumped his stomach. Done running. They hid behind a tree, completely cloaked in black so not even their gobbets could shine through, as a hidden door creaked open pouring light onto the forest floor. A green zoite, average height and kind of chubby, stepped out and pulled a hood over his ears. As the door closed shut Illias could make out small stripes on the man's cheeks. He was acting normal. No sign that he had any idea they were there, lurking in the darkness. The man drew out his lantern, and stopped. His ear twitched. He looked around, then started walking on a different path from the one Illias and his team had walked in on. Once he was gone, Axel motioned his group to move forward. They approached the door, and stood against each side, waiting for the signal. Each group was to get into position and wait. They waited. A few moments more and a bird cried out. It was a hunter of the night- the perfect signal. Through the door they went.
