In the late 1800s, Aires and Tony were living happy lives as two innocent brothers in their small village. Like many of the villagers, these two were obsessed with werewolves and vampires. Their parents found it cute. As they grew up, Aires became a soldier to protect the village while Tony stayed at home to care for their parents. However, things started to take a toll. The village leader was a very selfish and manipulative man. He tried to kill a woman who was a threat to his reputation. Aires knew his leader was a bad man, so he tired to help this woman as he never actually liked the man. But he failed, the woman was killed and the village leader put the blame on Aires. Because of this, Aires was banished by the elders never to return. He had hoped that the other soldiers would come to his aid, or even his parents. But no one did. Feeling betrayed by his own people, he swore revenge on the entire village. Tony could only watch as his brother was exiled. 10 years later, the village had aligned themselves with a strong pack of werewolves. This happened when Tony was bit by one and he became their alpha. As the pack and the village started to live in peace with one another as if they were all some big unique family, one night a coven of vampires had attacked the village. The werewolves swore to protect any human that was in danger of these bloodsuckers. It was a tough battle, but luckily no one was hurt. Every vampire of the coven was captured and taken into holding cells. Tony being the werewolf alpha decided to see every vampire for himself to find out why they attacked the village. He was told to talk to their leader as he seemed to hate this village with a burning passion. So once the coven was presented to Tony, he demanded to leader to come forth. However, when he did, Tony felt an emotional shock that he was not prepared for.
Tony: Who ever is the leader of this coven... show yourself...
Tony waited for 5 seconds before.
???: That would be me
Tony looked toward the direction of the voice and his heart sank.
Tony:...A- Aires
Hearing that the alpha had already known the coven leader, the pack and even the coven were shock and confused.
Aires and Tony stared at one another for 10 seconds in silence before...
Tony: Go... leave me with this one
The pack and coven left them alone to speak in private.
Tony: It's been 10 years... and now you decide to return, and try killing us all?
Aires: You looked surprised... I did say I would be back... Nice to see you too Tony
Tony: I didn't even expect you to be one of them
Aires: Surprise...
Tony: Aires... what happened to you...? You used to be the most honorable person I knew, and now your a blood thirsty savage
Aires: I tried to help our village... and how do they repay me... THEY THREW ME OUT... mother and father didn't even speak up about it... why should I even care what happens to this village?
Tony: And yet you try to destroy it? You try to destroy our family?
Aires: They aren't my family... not anymore...
Then someone runs into the room.
"TRAITOR!!!!!"
Aires turns to see his mother, Melinda.
Aires: Hello mother
Melinda: DO NOT CALL ME THAT!!! YOU HAVE BROUGHT ME NOTHING BUT SHAME
Tony expected Aires to say something to deny it, but he said nothing. Melinda suddenly attacked Aires.
Tony: MOTHER!!! STOP!!!
Melinda: YOU ARE NO SON OF MINE!!!!!
Melinda tried to slap Aires, but Aires suddenly grabbed her wrist.
Aires: Now you know how I felt
Melinda barely recognized Aires as her son.
Tony: Mother... please leave, let me handle this
With that, Melinda ran off crying.
Tony: Aires... how could you do that?
Aires: I refuse to acknowledge her as my mother any further
Tony: Aires... please don't make this worse
Aires: What are you going to do... Banish me... Or maybe destroy me....
Tony: WHAT!? No I would never
Aires: THEN WHAT????!!!!!!
Tony stood there in silence before saying...
Tony: Your choice
Aires: What???
Tony: I will not force you to leave, nor will I end you here and now... but you have 2 choices, you can put the past behind you and I will welcome you back home... or... we fight to the death... it's up to you
Tony says this with tears in his wolf eyes. Seeing this, Aires stands there for 5 minutes thinking... then.
Aires: Tony...
Tony was caught off guard when Aires finally spoke.
Aires: What will happen if I chose to stay? What about the rest of my coven?
Tony: Well, they can stay and will be supervised at all times... you will stay by my side as much as possible... but all I want is to have you back... even if our kind are enemies...
Aires: Then... I will take that
Tony: Of course... this means you and you coven will have to answer to me from now on...
Aires: ...ok
And with that, out of nowhere, Tony pulls Aires in for an embrace. Aires is taken aback at first but then hugs back.
Tony: I missed you brother...
