Today was pretty important, I lifted my skin for someone to finally see all the rusty cogs spinning and spinning. This person is a professional, and she was an adorable little woman I might add. She studied the rustic cracks and pipes, asking me where I got these and how come some aren't working as well as they should be. I told her everything she needed to know, everything to the core. I wanted her to be able to rebuild me if she so wished it, purely from the words spoken out of my mouth.
But the more she studied, the more she stepped back, mortified, trembling. I stood there in silence as I remained exposed, no use in putting my flesh on after confiding in this optimistic little stranger.

Why are you shaking?
She was trembling and fumbling with her tiny hands, I watched her twitch with discontent as she sat across from me. The table suddenly became a shield, and those pretty brown eyes which were once connected with mine had run off, they were tediously bouncing from her papers to the walls. The clock.

I've never seen such dry lips, words didn't flow like they were before I had handed her my blueprints. What's the matter? I can't understand all this stuttering and awkward smiles. Forcing those lips to part, she speaks only for me to not tell another soul what I've told her today. Why?

Clearly she made it seem like it wasn't what it was, she tinkered against the clock on ways to describe what this is, what I am. What a horrid creature that lives in this mortal body. Is it a demon perhaps? I'm not very sure, I am aware of my actions and I know what I like. This isn't a supernatural at work, it's just me. Stop changing the subject. I'm not going to hurt you.

Though I wonder what her small form would feel like against my tongue, if her bones would break as easily in my teeth. I'm sorry, did you say you were Chinese or Korean?

I feel numb, but I can't seem to wipe this smile off my face.
I can't seem to find answers either.
