Edit (11/18/2014)

Two years, a hundred faves and many enraged humanaboos later, this stamp is still going strong. I mean wow, it's in only one group, and I don't think it's my best stamp by far, but it still has a hundred faves. I'm not even that big of a wolf fan, I just made this stamp to jump on the wolfaboo/anti-wolfaboo drama bandwagon that still rages to this day and to make people think and question whether a person really does hate something, or if they're just hating on the thing to piss other people off. And apparently, wolfaboos DO exist...they are people who love wolves so much that it's at the expense of other animals, humanity included. And I actually do think that is pretty stupid, since there are so many more animals to appreciate than just wolves.

You can't like just wolves and nothing else. In a corrupt world, where the strong prey on the weak, and a faceless cabal of sadistic, Machiavellian nihilists operates coldly on detached logic and preaches a crooked gospel of nihilism, human supremacy, social Darwinism, absolute skepticism, slander, hypocrisy, ridicule and "othering" of targeted groups, the downtrodden must stand strong and present a unified, mature image in the face of an injustice. "They" govern what can and cannot be said under threat of blackmail, persecution and systematic identity-destruction, so remember, you are only the bigger man if you don't make an insufferable fool of yourself...because when you do, "They" have already won.

Nationalistic monologue aside, so far I've gotten faves from devoted wolf fans, sane wolf fans, animal fans in general, moderate human fans who also care about animals, etc...a whole host of interesting people faving this stamp. Keep being awesome, dA

Original Description

Okay, I think I've found something even stupider than hating on "rabid" bronies, furries, weeaboos etc...at least those ones almost made sense given the fucked-up things some members of those three aforementioned fandoms do, but apparently now liking wolves is something worthy of being cyberbullied over!

It seems like nowadays anti-wolf stamps and hate art mocking people for drawing "speshul sparkledogs" almost outnumbers the decent, artful, positive drawings of wolves and wolf furries on this site. The whole thing reeks of the same old "let's hate on X because X is popular, and by hating X we are the new 'in' crowd, above all those dumb fans!" mentality, it's immature, embarrassing and really makes me think this site has gone steadily downhill since the start of this decade.

Me? I like wolves, not as much as many people on this site do, but they are 2nd place on my list of favorite animals, with cats being the first on the list. I may be a sane wolf lover, but I still hate seeing how barbaric and petty people are acting over this whole "wolfaboo" thing.

Finally, as for wolfaboos wishing they were animals instead of humans, as a misanthrope I can't say that's too unreasonable a fantasy. Especially when humans are the ones responsible for fucking up our environment in the first place, and killing each other over religion, politics, money, etc. I see stamps basically glorifying humans killing animals, or saying humans are "better" than animals, just as a drama-generating measure designed to offend wolfaboos, furries, otherkin, etc. and generate more butthurt and lulz, and it makes me lose even more faith in humanity.

Sorry for my tl;dr rant here, I just felt like saying this. That is all.

Most Anti-Wolfers don't hate wolves or the amount of wolf art. They hate the insane, ignorant, mean-spirited, sadistic, hypocritical fans, aka the Wolfaboos.

You do know that I don't support much of what this stamp is about anymore, right? I actually never liked wolfaboos...in the past I thought they were a completely made-up concept, and now that I do know they exist, I actually dislike them myself. For risk of sounding like a troll I originally created this stamp almost entirely to cause controversy and get people to think.  Maybe I should have instead made a stamp defending all animals or attacking obnoxious human supremacists instead of defending a group that even I hate nowadays. Sorry for the confusion.

I still think it's a silly term though. I mean, super rabid wolf fans who pretend wolves are better than every other animal and claim that to the public is a bit silly, but I do still think the term "wolfaboo" is a really dumb term still. It also made people use that term against wolf lovers who personality loves wolves and treat them equal (I do that as an anti-speciesist) rather than focusing on what I personality find silly sadly. If people had used a more matured term (speciesism) instead, then we probably wouldn't have that crap.

While I never even talked to a real "wolfaboo" yet, I still agree with your original info of when you said that 'humans have destroyed the environment' or whatever it said involving that. Humanaboo (Mirror side of wolfaboo) is sadly everywhere. There are so many people who has treated humans as a "special" animal.. Some believe that humans are not even animals! Ugh

Btw, there is nothing wrong with a person liking only wolves them selves.. (Is it even possible? lol). They just need to respect other animals too and likes which I do.
I personality like wolves more than some other animals, but I don't go around and pretend they are better or worse. I just have a personal like that's different I think.

The difference between just liking/loving wolves and being a "wolfaboo" is many wolfaboos actually wish for humans to be hunted instead of wolves. Wolfaboos go way over-board if you happen to not like wolves or if you show facts about wolves that isn't positive. Like one, if you mention that wolves are predators and aren't perfect angels, chances are you will get a death threat, insulted, told to kill yourself, etc. A big majority of them refuse to look at facts about their precious angels. Most also act like wolves never do anything bad. Liking or loving wolves is perfectly fine, in fact, I love wolves, but it's not my #1 favorite animal, but things some of these wolfaboos isn't okay, which is why so many people hate them.

I'm not talking about all wolf lovers in my comment, but a good 98% of wolfaboos I've seen/talked to have done what I've said in the comment, and I've met a lot in the past year.

Wolves aren't my favorite animals either, and honestly, I don't agree with this stamp much at all anymore. I think I remember mostly just making it two years ago to make people think and cause a little controversy, and now that I know wolfaboos actually exist, *and* that even I think the concept is pretty stupid, I don't see how people keep leaving comments defending anti-wolfaboos if I updated my description to say I actually don't defend wolfaboos anymore.

Bottom line is, it's less so much that I like wolfaboos, that couldn't be further from the truth. Instead, I just hate human supremacists. Especially the ones that go around acting like the goddamn Imperium of Man from Warhammer 40K and seemingly talk about "purging" furries, bronies, wolf fans, Homestuck fans, etc. in the most attention-whoring way possible. They are rare, but they do exist.

Most wolfaboos will death threat you if you hate wolfaboos, that's a wolfaboo.'''Finally, as for wolfaboos wishing they were animals instead of humans, as a misanthrope I can't say that's too unreasonable a fantasy. Especially when humans are the ones responsible for fucking up our environment in the first place, and killing each other over religion, politics, money, etc.''

When has a wolf ever found the cure to cancer? When has a humane human ever ate the death corpse of their own mama?

I say humans>Wolves

But there's nothing wrong with loving a wolf, but to hate all humans just because they fuck up the environment (Not all humans do) is stupid because you came from a human, you are a human and you'll stay a human until you die, might as well appreciate the fact you are blessed with superior intellegince.
''Face it people like wolves''

You don't even know what a wolfaboo is, a wolfaboo is someone who hates humans and will worship wolves. Not people who just simply like wolves. Learn the difference.

I'm not a wolfaboo (I just don't like seeing dumbasses glorifying humanity seemingly just to piss of animal fans,) and I'm not going to hide your comment just because I disagree with it. However, you seem pretty arrogant in your assumption that I would get butthurt and high your comment simply because I don't like your opinion. Honestly comments like these are one of the reasons I will never be "proud" to be a human: because most "proud" humans are just as obnoxiously vocal, arguably more, than the "animalaboos" they claim to hate with such vitriol.

I just don't like that humans are said to be apes. Seriously, I might like our species in general if we weren't constantly lumped in with ugly, hairy, poop-throwing primates. I've actually got my own elaborate origin story for humanity I came up with just out of the hopes it'll make humans seem more appealing in my eyes, something about us having come from an ancient godlike race who created us 2 million years ago, but I'm too inherently skeptical to let myself believe it...I am completely aware that I pulled it completely out of my head. So there's going to have to be some kind of life-changing miracle to get me to start liking my own species, and a lot of these arrogant, pissy little comments sure as hell aren't working.

Liking wolves is one thing. Being over the top fucking obsessed, grossly uneducated and ignorant about them, and anthropomorphizing/ clinging to emotional pleas is another.

"I wish I were a woof, then I wud be majestic and free in nature I hate hoomans lol " -your average wolfaboo.

Like, no. You wouldn't even be capable of coherent, intelligent thought, you would have no protection from the elements (I'm sure everyone loves getting rained and snowed on!), you would be in constant danger of losing your life from disease, starvation, or injury, and would constantly be competing for food, even amongst your own "family". And what I mean be family is the pack that only hangs around together because it's convenient.

I love and respect wolves, but damn, people can be stupid. That really goes for any belief though, not just opinions on this subject. Atheists can be morons, Christians can be morons, whatever.

But resenting others because they either don't know what a wolf is or dislike/hate wolves is retarded, they probably got shitloads of reasons why. Resenting yourself because your a human and not a wolf is pretty fucking cringy/edgy to a goddamn TEE. Hating animal hunters because they hunt wolves is also really dumb; Look, point is, people brang it amongst themselves to have this term come to life. So now they gotta deal with it, because it's everywhere nowadays.

Oh yes, because creating stamps that justify why humans kills animals (wolves in this case), & to put idiot wolf worshipers/fuckers in their place is truly not a reason to create them.

It's one thing to be cruel & kill animals over greed, & to offend people based on ignorance, it's another to trash people who DESERVE IT, & it's another to humanely kill animals because it's necessary. Wolfaboos get told off because they're idiots; they create false facts about wolves & actually wish death upon other humans because they kill their precious parasite-infested animal that doesn't even love them, & is actually a nuisance among many people. Not to mention that wolfaboos are also the biggest insult to biologists & people who actually study animals for a living.

Humans have fucked up the ecosystem, yes, I'm a with you there, but there are PLENTY of humans who are trying to save it. People don't hunt/kill wolves for a reason, they hunt them because they kill livestock, will kill you without warning, & because they are capable of killing down deer populations to the point of extinction if their numbers aren't controlled, because you know, wolves don't only kill to survive (ever heard of surplus killing?). Other animals are also hunted because they are an invasive species; take the snakehead fish in the U.S. or the Cane toad in Australia. People hunt those because they DO NOT BELONG THERE, & thos same animals are causing other animals native to those respective states to start dying out.

The human mind works on basic stereotypical facts. "Too popular, must hate, must be special, must say out loud and rebel. It makes me popular". Its normal for a human to hate on things that become popular. I think it includes this little problem. Nothing new there.

I have never before heard this Aboo, humanaloos, wolfaaboos, weeaboos and whateverboos. What the hell is this Koala language you speak off?

Anyways. This stamp interested me. I think Im going to look for more knowledge in this problem. I still think that if you like something, just draw it! It doesn't matter how popular or hated it gets.

wolfaboos were never popular, and NO, they are not just people who happen to like wolves, as the person who made this stamp suggests.

They spread false information about the species, do little to no actual research on them, tend to openly wish harm/death on other people, and are just poorly educated on the animals they try to defend with false propaganda.

Weeaboo, is a teenager, usually female, who attends anime conventions. No harm there. But, like the wolfaboo, they are poorly informed. They WORSHIP Japan, but know absolutely NOTHING about it's actual history and culture, only learning from what they've seen in anime, speaking in broken Japanese, constantly dissing on their own country, and never watch or listen to ANYTHING that isn't from Japan. usually Yaoi obsessed, and NEVER watches any anime that isn't popular. Just incase you didn't know about them. Unlike wolfaboos, who are dying out, the weeaboo is still going strong, as any anime fan goes through that stage, myself included.

'Aboo' is such a stupid suffix... And such a lame insult. As a misanthrope myself, I have to agree. The only thing good about being a human in my opinion is being able to read, draw, and write-- and being able to stand up for the rights of others. Other than that, I'm ashamed of being apart of one of the most destructive and hateful species in this world.

Great-5 In reply to Guardianwarriors [2014-04-27 21:20:19 +0000 UTC]

I couldn't agree more. It's just a snowclone of "weeaboo," a term that was already kinda stupid from the get-go. And good to see a fellow misanthrope. Kinda funny how I still have yet to see a "real" wolfaboo (I've been shown a few of them by people who were bent on showing me the "truth" about wolf fans...but even though yes, their behavior was less than savory, it seemed to me like they were provoked first by someone else,) yet "humanaboos" are almost everywhere.

I generally don't mind being a human, but that doesn't mean I have to blindly love my own species.

Yeah really. For being so obsessed with being on the side of logic and reason, and using said logic to insult and defame other people and make them look bad and stupid by pointing out and ridiculing their supposed fallacies, a lot of these human supremacist trolls are just too stupid and arrogant to accept the fact that their own logic is pretty flawed.

I have a funny story. Ever heard of RationalWiki? It's basically a radical atheist/skeptic wiki designed to do nothing but ridicule, mock and defame anything spiritual, supernatural or mystical, and anyone who believes in stuff like that. Basically like Encyclopedia Dramatica, only instead of targeting furries, fetishists, bronies, otaku, emo kids and other "acceptable targets" they target believers in alternative medicine, spirituality, New Age stuff, UFO theorists, etc. Both wikis have an irritating tendency to condemn and defame people who have done nothing wrong, for their own sadistic amusement. But anyways, I one time created an article on RationalWiki about the "appeal to ridicule" logical fallacy, which as much as atheists deny its existence, it is a very real logical fallacy, and no matter how "smart" or "witty" or "edgy" you try to present yourself as being, there is no denying that your logic is flawed when you try to make other people ridicule something you don't like. After creating this article and pointing out RationalWiki's hypocrisy, my article was promptly deleted and I got a lot of amusing rage from admins who were probably butthurt that I called them out on their flawed logic. But, big egos need to be stoked, and preying on other people is the most convenient way to stoke your massive ego. Trolls on dA and RationalWiki and ED editors alike have chosen that path, and I'm counting down the time until karma bites them in the ass.

Great-5 In reply to Guardianwarriors [2014-05-15 23:43:50 +0000 UTC]

Oh my god, that's terrible. What the heck did your poor friend do to deserve getting the "honor" of being mocked on ED? I seriously hope I never get an article written about me...I guess that's one good thing about being obscure. But yeah, those who brush aside the real damage Encyclopedia Dramatica gleefully does to peoples' psyches, saying stuff like "it's just a satire/parody website" or my personal least-favorite, "ED only mocks those who DESERVE it." Nobody deserves having their lives ruined, and the fact that your friend gets so much hate just from being "exposed" and humiliated for mean-spirited dumbasses to laugh at, just proves that the victims ARE there, and they ARE real. How funny is the satire, when the only ones laughing are the ones on top? I may not be a Christian, or even all that religious in the first place, but every time I hear about someone innocent like your friend having something like that happen to them, it fills me with righteous anger and a desire to pray for divine retribution, be it God, or karma, or whatever...I just want it to happen. I want those bastards to pay.

And I have seen that stamp. I actually confronted the user who made that stamp, and amazingly she didn't label me "butthurt," probably because I tried to be as neutral and as un-angry as I possibly could. But how infuriating is that, when you confront a troll on their abuse, and the majority by default sides with the troll and slaps the big, ugly "butthurt" label on you, and after that happens, nothing you say will be taken seriously. Getting bullied for standing up to a bully...popular mentality is screwed-up. I also hate how trolls simultaneously defend their abusive tendencies aggressively by claiming they are exercising "freedom of speech" and how anyone who has a problem with that is a terrible Nazi dictator who wants to take away their rights...and yet, they ALSO often claim, extremely chauvinistically, that certain widely picked-on groups "have no right" to say certain things. I am sick of trolls acting like they're the goddamned police of the internet, acting like they can govern, who and what can and cannot be liked, and enforce THEIR opinions under threat of defamation. It's no small wonder why people like us, with unpopular opinions are generally shy and afraid to open up to other people with our opinions: because the troll-controlled majority would just crap all over anything we do to express ourselves.

Ever play Metal Gear Solid? That series of games has recurring themes centered around villains who are strong and who prey on the weak, and in the latter three games in the series the true villains are a secret society who use the internet to control and regulate the flow of information...ironically, exactly what a lot of internet trolls seem to fancy themselves doing in real life. Life imitates art, I guess.

Well, I'll admit she used to be a wolf troll, but she isn't anymore. Same here, I got offended by what ED wrote on my friend, and I'm not even her!  People who say that must be pretty stupid. Then when you point out what damage ED has done to people, causing some to commit suicide even, they shout ' ZOMG!!! BUTTHURT!! LEZ MAKKE A NEW ED ARTIKLE ON U!!! '  No matter how bad someone seems,  they still don't deserve a ruined life, depending on what they do. I checked my friend's account today, luckily she's still alive, even though her page is still full of hate messages. I agree. Every time I see someone getting mocked, I  just want  any divine being to stomp on them. It's too bad that most gods don't seem to listen if they exist. The innocent are the ones who end up getting crushed and not the bad.  I may be a partial Christian, but I am a vengeful person. I like to have revenge. Forgiveness is hard to give to such hateful people.

You've seen it too? I'm curious... What did you say to her? Sorry if I'm being nosy, but I'm wondering what you said and what her response was. Trying to be neutral with trolls is hard. I just wanna scream at them, but you're right. The butthurt label would hit you the moment you said something in an angry way. God, you have no idea how many times I've seem trolls use the freedom of speech excuse. It's always 'FWEEDEM OF SPEECH! ZOMG I HAV DA WRITE TO TROLL U TO DEATH!!!! ' Then if you say something rude to them back, they go ' ZOMG  U DO NAWT HAV DA WRITE TO TROLL ME!!! UR EVIL! UR SICK!!! GO TO HELL BASTURD!!!' <---- Mother.Fucking.Wow.
Yeah, I'm always afraid to post my opinions on touchy subjects. When I first made an account on YouTube, I posted my opinion on a video that promoted bullying, and some troll came up and said 'FWEEDEM OF SPEECH!!! WE HAVE DA RIGHT TO BULLY PEEPL!!!! DO HUMANS A FAVER AND GO KILL YERSELF!!!' ... He/she really did say all of that, and it was... Disheartening. I was underaged at the time I joined YouTube, which was 2 years ago, and you know how much impact negative comments have on young kids. Luckily I'm 13 now and about to turn 14, so I can take it less heavily now.

I've actually never played they game, but I've heard of it. That's weird. I wonder if the directors of the game based that on what the internet is truly like, or if it's a coincidence?

I get why people like wolves, I do too, but i'm getting sick of seeing them everywhere.

if somebody loves wolves, then I'm cool...im not cool with people who make conversation turn into this:

"OMG WOLVES ARE THE GODS OF OUR WORLD WE SHOULD ALL TURN INTO WOLVES I AM A SPIRIT-WOLF!"

I can deal with people who just go, "Yeah I love them." but not people who give a full rant on it
