- 100% furless, most of his body has a carapace, only few spots on the muzzle and joints are skin-like.
- The feelers on his head sense vibrations, while the ones on the cheeks sense heat.
- Spots on the muzzle are vestigial, he has no whiskers.
- He has no claws, but can jump high enough to get on trees and rooftops.
- Can carry 10 times his body weight.

Oh boy this one is old.
I got this character as an adoptable almost 4 years ago and after making him a ref, I never used him. He was supposed to be an alien cat, I never had a reason to redesign him (despite wanting to do so for a while), then today I saw a video of toads eating mealworms, and how those only have 6 front legs, dragging the rest of their long bodies behind them; my brain's cogs started moving, and I got this idea.

I used photos of cats, caterpillars and superworms/mealworms for the anatomy and markings, especially for the tail. The color palette is similar to the old one, but many markings, placements and some hues have changed.
Overall I'm happy with the result, it feels more personal than just a random adopt.
