This is how you describe the Simpsons fanbase; do not criticize Homer, you'll see many people bitch about other characters doing something bad or petty but it's taboo to do that to Homer, and when it comes to bad parenting, he's excused FAR too easily than any other dad characters, for example: Buck Cluck from Chicken Little gets so much hate from everyone because they overexaggerate everything about him, but no one does that to Homer, and when it comes to dad characters from other shows, they get hated, meanwhile people act like Homer does nothing wrong, people act like Homer would hate bad fathers, despite doing half the stuff he did, like having a favorite child, having the least favorite child, abuse the least favorite kid (physically and or mentally) and spoiling the favorite one, so basically it's only bad because other bad fathers done it other then Homer, the fans are so obnoxious they often use Peter as an get out of jail free card for Homer, they got pissed off at the crossover episode when he pointed out that he's insane for strangling his son, proving that simpsons fans supports strangling. (Also proving that they're retarded Meg fags aswell) and when bad parent characters kick out one of their kids, viewers get mad, but if Homer does it, no one would say a word. (Considering he'd done worse) See? Technically you can't do bad things unless you're Homer Simpson.
