Description
Like lies from the mouth of Satan, it belched forth. Smooth, almost gentle, and yet with a wrongness so potent if fouled the very air. I knew with a horrid certainty, as the dark torrent passed through me, that I would never be clean again. I turned my eyes upwards to the Lord, and began to pray for His salvation, for no other could spare me from the bubbling horrors beneath. With tears in my eyes, I begged Him to bring an end to it, and, after an eternity, silence returned to the night, and I knew a semblance of peace once more. It is my dearest hope that I can only shield another from stumbling into this wretched nightmare.
