Poundcake: AGGGHH! Why did I do that?! I didn't mean to hurt him that bad! *sighs* I need to work on my anger... but how?

???: We can help you, darling!

[After a surprised gasp, Poundcake turns around to see a smiling young man and woman dressed like they're been pulled from the 1950s. For a minute, the purple Pangoro stares down the couple before gasping in realization.]

Poundcake: Oh, no! Nonononononono! I know exactly who you are and I'm not falling for that bull--

Young Woman: Oh, you have absolutely nothing to fear! We just hate to see such a precious Pokemon so frustrated. Wouldn't it be nice to live without a care in the world?

Poundcake: *steps back* ...I-I mean, yeah, but--

Young Man: Then we insist that you come with us! No offense but you look an absolute mess! A poor and helpless Pokemon such as yourself deserves a much better way of living!

Young Woman: By the time we're done, you won't know the meaning of the word "angry"!

[For a moment, Poundcake turns her head away and thinks to herself with some anxious bamboo stick chewing. After much consideration, she looks back at the couple and firmly takes the woman's hand.]

Poundcake: ...Lead the way.

So I just discovered Team Buddy and I love it! For those that don't know, Team Buddy is a Pokemon evil team with a 1950s aesthetic created and led by Mr. Buddy. Their ultimate goal is to make everyone friends whether they want to or not. As I watched all of the videos, I began to feel mixed emotions. On one hand, I was legitimately terrified of the concept. The thought of someone robbing you of your free will and forcing you to be happy and friendly all the time was absolutely mortifying to me. And this is coming from a Gen 4 MLP fan.

Mr. Buddy got me to fear friendship. Never saw that coming and I must commend him for that.

On the other hand, I was intrigued by the whole thing, especially with the concept of Buddyized Pokemon. That's where Poundcake comes in. She fully consents to the Buddyization knowing damn well how evil the team is. And you know what? Something tells me that she wouldn't want to go back to normal. Anyway, here is Buddyized Poundcake inspired by Yogi Bear. Her new ability is Serene Grace and she loses her Normal type to become Fairy/Fighting instead. And since the wiki pages on the Buddyized Pokemon offer a research lab entry...

"Buddyization has successfully quell Miss. Poundcake's anger and she is more than thankful for it. She can now make as many friends as she always wanted."

Also I just realized that I kind of gave her a pompadour without realizing it. Nice.

Additional Moves:
Charm: Buddyized Poundcake puts her paw to her mouth and widens her eyes.
Play Rough: After tackling the opponent to the ground, Buddyized Poundcake tickles them non-stop until stars come out.
Flatter: Buddyized Poundcake waves her paws, creating red waves that confuse the target.
Seismic Toss: Buddyized Poundcake grabs her opponent, jumps into the air, and throws them into the ground.
