An assignment for art class that I obsessed over for about a month. We were doing self portraits in the style of Chuck Close. We had to use fingerprints and paint, two of the mediums Chuck used, and two of our own, in my case pencil and pen.

We drew a grid over a picture and scaled the grid up onto a large piece of paper, using the grid for placement guidelines. We then masked off squares with sticky notes around the edges and started filling them in with different mediums. It was really hard to keep the values constant across the squares, I have some variation but I think it looks good.

The final piece is about 16x23 I think... or something like that.
