i put this deviation together with some found photographs-- the plane came from my grandfathers photo album and the parachute image was from an old post card from the army.
i reccommend a full view. and welcome all comments and such

i had no idea where this image was going until i found the postcard with the guy parachuting.. then it all clicked.

The more of a story you tell, the stronger the piece, until you go to far and it's just propaganda
But the stronger the piece the less mediocre and inoffensive it becomes, and thefewer comments you get.

why are men parachuting TO the plane?...usually its the out of the plane thing...did they let all 6 guys go then fly straight down? explains why there isnt a 7th parachuter. very nice. looks good. I like your more recent pieces. they seem to have a little more purpose and intent to them.

ya well the parachuting men appeared because while i was rummaging through old postcards and photos at an antique store i found a postcard with that image and decided that it had to go in there.
from what i know about what happened the men first dropped in over airfields to take over local airports after that they then parachuted into local malls, starbucks, and wal marts.
i think what I like about my more recent pieces is that i feel more connected to them, they just arent images for image sake-- there is more of an intent and purpose they are not just things thrown together for the sake of good design. i guess what im trying to say is that im trying to tell more of a story with them.
the weird thing is ive been getting less comments and views of my more recent work.. which.. truth be told kinda bums me out. of course that's not going to stop me
