Description
The Killdeer is a shorebird that is often seen around urban areas. They often nest in fields and parking lots. Caught this one as it was flying by me, probably to distract me from its nest or chicks.Related content

Love these birds...one nested in the gravel parking lot outside our apartment back in TX, and some bratty boys stomped on the eggs right before they were about to hatch. ;_;
