I like all the little patterns in this. They blend in and out so well, and uniquely enhance her face without distracting from it. The title "18" makes me think of someone who's just reached 'official' adulthood (that's the age of legal adulthood in the United States, which is where I live), and how a person's life and character is comprised of a series of patterns (of events, of behavior, in relationships), and by the time a person reaches adulthood, many of these patterns have already been established or are on the way to becoming so. There's still a lot of development left, however, which can be symbolized by the cloth over part of her face.
Anyway, that may or may not be what you intended at all when you did this, but it's what it makes me think of. Just thought I'd share. I really like it--it's quite beautiful.
