Sometimes it takes awhile for things to hit you. You know something happened, but you don't truly feel it until hours, days, or maybe even months later. And when it hits, there is that brief moment of realization before any other emotion grabs hold. For that tiny second, you know the whole truth of the matter before your brain can cloud it up. That moment of calm is sometimes the only real peace a person can get in life, before everything else goes to hell.

This was drawn in my sketch book, then scanned in photoshop and done completely there. In case you were wondering, yes that is me in the picture. My goatee isn't quiet as long, but thats the only real difference. I was just in a general down mood while doing this, mostly cause my computer wasn't working and I lost all my artwork.
