first opening in 1978, Loch Ness Monster was the first roller coaster with interlocking loops. Thanks to Ron Toomer, This coaster is still popular with American Roller Coaster fans.

in 2018, Loch Ness Monster celebrated it's 40th birthday.

Arrow Dynamics would construct another full circuit coaster with interlocking loops. that would include orient express at Kansas's Worlds of Fun Amusement park. when that coaster opened, it was the first coaster to have a batwing element. sadly, Orient Express closed down in 2003.
