I took this picture a few days ago in a very poor part of my town. The title is a tribute to ~caio Β΄s "somethings wrong" , which inspired me a lot.Related content

Also, i agree with `bookdiva in the fact that maybe it is a little too colourful to believe its a poor part of town. I suggest destaturating the photo and then deepening the shadows and midtones, and boosting the highlights. Still

wow. actually really surreal looking as a few already pointed out and it may detract from the fact that those areas are real, yet the surreal sky and the strong contrast impacts the viewer and gives him a strong feeling for this photo. really expressive. good job.

This is one of your best photos, in my opinion! The colours are wonderful, they add life to the picture. The sky looks great, as do the silhouettes of the kids. Amazing shot!

Lovely shot you know, one thing that I love about your photos is that they have this certain look to them and great atmosphere to them. This shot is a great example of what i'm talking about. I can't quite explain what it is though. I love the colours in this and the contrast. That sky just looks awesome. The composition is very well done too

Everyone seem to preffer BnW for this..i dont. Keep tese vivid colours, theyre so beautiful. These helps to explain that theres still life in these places and we shouldnt see it in Black and white....black and white could be describe as to be blind; to ignore the life of the poors. Colours is hope...just keep them

This is filled with vibrancy and light, good flow and depth, I like the sky, nicely captured.
I would suggest either making it b&w so we focus on the reality of the situation, the poverty, or toning down the colors, too filled with life and color for us to believe it is the poor end of town. Nice photo, though.

few things with this:
the colors are extremly vibrant in the sky yet the colors of the buildings are saterated slightly. THe image has amazing amount of contrast and sharpness to all the lines, yet that are extremely smooth and the effect gives it a very surreal fealing, which is a good thing and a bad thing.
it takes away from the feeling that this is real and really happening in many places around the world as we speak, but yet adds a feeling of horror, something so smooth and perfect with something has hard hitting as the sharpness of the lines. I don't know if I want to fall in love with this peice or hate it, and thats what a photo should do.

Nice capture, but I think this would be in B&W. Otherwise, u just give a desire, and doesn't have the reality as it is.
Documental photography deserve B&W always, IMHO at least
