Description This is the biggest picture I've drawn yet. Both in size (1080p!) and detail (2 Characters + Terrain).

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! So go ahead and don't be afraid to tell me what you think!

This picture comes with a story for your enjoyment.
The story takes place in the post-game universe of PMD explorers and should explain quite well, what is happening in the picture.

- At the base -

Cyder (Quilava): "Treek! ... Treek! Where are you? I was out shopping for items. I've got this awesome offer for reviver seeds. Two Escape Orbs for each! ... Treek? Are you not home?"

'He said, he would be waiting for me. Maybe someone in the town square knows where he is. Hell, he might simple be managing some items for tomorrow. Since Mrs. Kangaskhan had her cub a few days ago, nobody was able to access any of their items and stuff just kept getting piled up. He's a cutie though. She named him cuby, cub-by q-boy. I didn't quite catch his name.'

'Well... He can't be gone long, his straw still feels warm. Could be me though. In any case, I'd better get to the town square and ask around, if anybody's seen him.'

- At the square -

Slakoth (Slakoth): "Hey ... Slowpoke. ... Did you hear the news?..."

Slowpoke (Slowpoke): "No ... Did you hear the news?..."

'Those two are always so wheird... Well seems like Mrs. Kangaskhan still hasn't returned to her job. If this keeps up, I should start getting used to sleeping on more Gravelrock, than straw - Shiver.'

"Hey! Have you seen Treek?"

"Treek?... Yeah. He came through here five minutes ago. Looked pretty shaken up."

"Do you know, where he wen't"

"Looked like he was heading out..."

'Heading out? Where would he be heading out to?'

"... How come you're not with him?"

'What is he up to? I have to catch up to him!'

"Never mind that. Do you know which dungeon he went to?"

"No, but what is this all about?"

"No time! I gotta catch up with him!"

'I've gotta get goin'! This isn't like him! He never goes dungeoning without me! Much less without telling me! I remember that one time I had Pokérus and he sat next to my nest the whole time. He even caught some of it himself. Maybe Mancerage knows something. He should be at the café.'

- Spinda's Café -

Mancerage (Salamance): "RAAHHH I'm a dragon. Haha! Good evening Cyder. What brings you here? Woah! You look worried. What's the matter?"

"No time! Do you know where Treek is?"

"Yeah. I saw him sprinting through, before I came in here. Didn't even stop, to say hello. It felt like he gave off a wheird aura, but I'm no Lucario. He even..."

"Do you know where he was going?"

"... looked kind'a sick..."

'Don't give me that grouchy look now! I'm in a hurry!'

"... He was probably heading out, to..."

"Yeah, BUT WHICH ONE?!"

"... tackle Shimmer Desert."

'I gotta get there. Fast!'

"Hey! Where are you going Cyder? ... Cyder... Well he's gone."

- Road to Shimmer Desert -

'Faster! Faster! Come on inner ember! You've never failed me before! Faster! ... Ah! There we go. Now we're cooking - or rather I am. Faster! ... And people say Quilava can't learn Agility. Pah! ... But Oh Arceues, what could this all be about? I've got a real bad feeling about this.'

- Shimmer Desert -

'Looks like somebody came through here just a few minutes ago. I can still see their footprints. And by the looks of it, it was a Treecko.'

'I think I can even see him over there. Or is that just a mirage? It's transparent.'

"TREEK!! TREEK WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?"

'What are those glowing spheres of light? Are they - OH NO - They couldn't be - Grovyle never said anything about him - And even I've been back for a couple of weeks. No no no no no no!'

"TREEK!!"

Treek (Treecko): "sob. Huh? sob."

'Oh no! It is true. BUT IT CAN'T BE!'

"Treek... Why?"

'I must hug him! - Why? - Just because I MUST! I must hold onto him because I known what is going to happen here.'

"Cyder, I ... I didn't ... I didn't want to make you ... sob ... go through this."

'No!! It is true! Why?'

"whiper - WHY? Why you!?"

'The light is getting brighter and he is getting more and more transparent.'

"sob. Cyder! I ... You ... I ... I helped, to change the future too. A future that doesn't exist any more. So neither can the Treecko, that helped you change that future. Dialga told me that it was going to happen, but she promised me, to keep me and all our friends as they were until the sun will set on this evening. Don't worry about me. I will exist as the Treecko I once was, before I met you. The only thing that matters now, is that we are both here and together."

'The light is getting too bright. I must close my eyes.'

"Please Treek. Don't leave! -sob- Why didn't you tell me? Why did you come here?"

"-sob- The same reason you didn't tell me, when you found out about yourself in the Hidden Lands."

'He's right you know. But he must have known, if Dialga told him about all this.'

"You wan't to know, why this place is called the Shimmer Desert? Look over there!"

'The setting sun is casting its rays over the whole desert. Every grain of sand is shimmering like a gem. Its beatiful.'

"Treek... Don't leave. Please don't. I'm beggin you!"

"It's not under my control. Not even Dialga could keep me here forever."

"But then why was I brought back?"

"Dialga must have heard my pleas. I didn't think of it when I asked her to keep us here. She said she could sustain me and our friends, but not you, because you're from the future. But I just didn't want to be kept here without you. As a matter of fact, I was longing and waiting for this evening to come before you returned. And once you came back I didn't want to spend our last days sobbing over our existance."

"Treek..."

"Thank you for the joy we had, not only these last couple of days, but since the day we met on that beach. Every second of exploration, every minute of walking around town, every night we slept next to each other. It was everything I could have asked for."

"sob! Treek!"

"sob! Cyder!"

'He's almost gone now. I'm already holding him as tight as I can without setting him on fire.'

"Treek! Why am I not disappearing!?"

"sob. Huh? I don't know? Maybe because you only came back later. But then again I'm not a legendary Pokémon, that controls time now am I? Haha..."

"Haha..."

'What is this? Am I falling? Why is it dark? OH NO! I'm in the desert. The sun has set. Treek, whom I was holding only moments ago is now only air! Treek... WHY?!'

"TREEK! WHY?! ... whimper ..."

'Argh! What is this? The bright light is back! Is it my turn now? Will I cease to exist, like Grovyle did, when he sacrifyced himself?'

'AH! It's getting brighter. But Huh? Its not coming from me! In fact... is that Treek I can see, when I squint my eyes real hard.'

"IT IS!! TREEK!"

'Run to him! Hold him before he disappears again. Hold him as tight as you can!'

"I have you! And I'm not going to let you go... again."

'He's not responding. What is going on here?'

"TREEK! Wake up!"

'The light is fading again and he's not transparent any more, as I'm still holding him.'

"Treek! Please wake up!"

"Huh?! What is going on? Dude I've had the wheirdest dream."

'Oh NO! Is this Treek before we met? He said, that he would still exist, but not know about anything that happened.'

"Cyder! You're suffocating me!"

'He remembers my name. So that must mean...'

"TREEK! Oh Arceues thank you! Oh Dialga thank you!"

"Gasp! Cyder! Oh wow. Why am I back?"

"I don't know and I don't care!"

'You're really starting to suffocate him! Stop strangling!'

"You think Grovyle had anything to do with this?"

"Gasp! What? How? Where? Well... Maybe."

'Don't ever leave me again!'

"Well Cyder, what do you say, we go home? I still have to clean up my nest. I rolled into a pile or Orans last night."

"Haha Treek!"

'Oh you'll never change...'

"By the way. What did you dream of?"
