I am just sitting here with my jaw in my lap--this is awesomely magical! I love the drama of the scene~~and that the reader is unconcerned (or unaware--unless, as the title may suggest, it's in his book!) I love the lighting of this--the tiger from underneath, and the shadow thrown by his own nose onto his forehead, and the warmth and power it feels like, and all the rest lit from the moon above--cold and calculating...

I really love the sort of ancient style over this drawing, it looks almost like something from old Asian ink drawings.

HOW? I hate MS Paint. It's the bane of my existence. I had to deal with it for a week once, and I was practically punching my computer.

xD when you are used to paint like you do with acrylics on real canvas, ms paint isnt that hard anymore.

When it's the very first thing you learn with, it becomes a really useful tool. I couldn't afford photoshop when I first started drawing and learned to draw digitally with MSpaint. Nothing I ever did was anywhere near this good, but I probably would have never started drawing more than stick figures if it weren't for paint. (:
