As a kid I had a bunch of Pokemon action figures, but I only had two of these guys. I was missing the ice dude (can't remember their names) It was always so sad only having two of them...

Woah, these are some really cool designs! I love the idea of mixing the legendary birds with the legendary dogs/beasts etc. I like how you've made them all lookvery graceful, especially Suicune/Articuno/Suicuno : P You have a lovely style!

True but a griffen is a lion/bird.
I've heard both ways cats or dogs who knows for sure the tv show contradicts the game's pokedex and sometimes they both cotradicts the bulbabedia site. I've seen some people get in huge arguments about which is the right one. It seems a lot for others to get worked up over.

Actually, they ARE cats, or at least very close, according to this bit of information:
