Personally, I'd like to get over my fear of spiders.

For the life of me I can't understand how you're not running away screaming from that thing. I'm terrified of little spiders that are 1/4 of that size, if I saw something that big anywhere near me I'd probably break down in tears.
Don't get me wrong. I understand spiders are good, they kill other insects and are (generally) harmless, but I am still terrified of them. As long as they stay out of my sight and build their webs in out of the way places like the very backs of cabinets, behind the couch and in the storage room I don't care. But the moment I see one crawling across anywhere I plan to be for a while it is as good as dead.
