I love storms, especially the really bad ones where there is a tone ofΒ lightning and heavy rain. I find the sound of rain droplets and thunder to be very soothing and relaxing.

Wow pretty!
Though I nearly got hit by lighting today. I'm not even kidding, it was like maybe a few hundred meters away.
Good thing I was in my car or else my ears would have exploded. (thunder is loud even at a distance ;__; )

Thunderstorms are awesome from afar but when I'm in them for some reason I get really anxious and uncomfortable!! QMQ;;; I know it's completely irrational and I'm safe and everything but still I have no idea why they bother me so much hhHKLSFJghdjlkghdsjfhg ;m;

Looks really cool, I love lightning and rain.
The first set of photography I've done was of lightning. I actually caught lightning flash in slow motion, and it's crazy. At night time, some lightning's initial flash (before any lightning) starts by lighting up the whole sky, then the sky dims as everything on the ground gets lit up as if it was day time-- this is within a matter of a tenth of a second. Then the lightning itself begins to slowly (for high speed photography) fall to the ground, sometimes with veins splitting out in many different directions. It's truly awesome and beautiful. And there are many different type of lightning (at least in the way it looks in slow motion).
And you can imagine since I could only capture high speed for thirty seconds at most, I spent like five hours just pointing my camera in random directions praying that lightning strikes in front of it, and only got like six good shots.

omf 31? ... ugh if i didn't have to take my kids to school i'd be hibernating indoors til the storms come and cool us down a bit.... my poor dogs can't go walks until it cools down but by the time it's cool enough to walk them, my kids are in bed... not to mention my black bunny overheating... having to freeze large bottles of water and put them in her hutch to lie next to to cool her down

yeah its totally crazy!! i would be hibernating too ;_; its the same for our poor pooch! shes a labradoodle and we have her clipped but her coat has grown back so fast and even by 9am its too hot to take her out on a walk :c heres hoping for a lot of rain though! ive been getting low pressure headaches so it probably wont be long now! your poor bunny :cΒ

awwe poor pooch, i've got staffies but they're getting on now so can't take the heat as well, with one being black. I'm not a BIG fan of it raining but we need to clear this air.... toooo stifling.. i daren't even put her in her run for long
