Description
I used to do a lot of commissioned portraits. I was trained in oil pastel but I discovered that I loved working in watercolor pencil and ink so much more. This is a scan of an original that was made as a gift for a friend of mine. It was done from a favorite photograph of hers. The scan really emphasized the strokes, the original is much smoother. My copy is in bad shape because a large number of my sketche books and portfolio pieces were ruined in flood. I saved a few books but they are crinkled.
