Description

Larson heard the bark of gunfire, then high-pitched warble of a particle weapon being fired and began running towards the noise while drawing his sword. The gunshots were from Chandra's musket returning fire against at least one rifle and a pistol. Those two firearms were his primary concern. The particle weapon would be spinning up to recharge, those were heavy and awkward weapons designed to be used against fixed positions. The good news was that Larson would have about seventy to ninety seconds before it could fire again, the bad news was that it meant that the attackers were well-equipped. He had loaned his pistol and it's remaining four rounds to Oscar to protect the rest of the group.

He heard Chandra's musket fire again and a shout of pain to his right. That lady scientist was far from helpless. Larson changed direction slightly,then half-jumped, half-rolled onto the back of the flatbed truck. He ran across the boards and jumped down on a pistol-waving Knight, sword at the ready...
