This image is for July 1st in a film inspired challenge found here:Β www.deviantart.com/emilysaiartβ¦The silent film era inspires this image, for which I was thinking about mysterious stories like Rebecca.
My mom encouraged me to read her copy of the novel when I was in high school. Then she brought home a movie version from the library. It had a big "Black and White" library sticker on it. That was ok; we like old movies. Then it started to play. Something about the music clued me in, and I told my mom, "This is a silent film." She held out till the first word card appeared. LOL
