I saw this pose and just had the overwhelming urge to draw Armand, which is a very rare urge indeed xD since I really don't draw him that often. I'm not 100% sure who he's talking to. Originally, he was listening to Daniel, who was trying to explain some form of technology to him, phone, computer, VCR, whatever XD, since Armand went through that awkward phase of bothering Daniel about things like that and became somewhat obsessed with technology....which lead me to draw the video camera, phone, MP3 player and laptop around him, as if he's just been playing with all of these things
Then I changed his one eyebrow to make him look more inquisitive, then he ended up looking mildly disgusted XD, and the Emperor's New Groove monologue came into my head, from when Kuzco is listening to Yzma ramble on x,D. -"He's like the thing that wouldn't shut up. Whoa! Look at those wrinkles! What is holding this man together? What the...how long has THAT been there?" So now I'm thinking maybe he's talking to Lestat...even though Lestat isn't old looking, but to the eternal 17 year old, maybe he's noticing these things that aren't really there out of pure hatred XD. Maybe he's talking to poor Marius...I don't really know .
