lol don't worry same here, since this one was colored by a friend, mostly the colored stuff i have are done by friends since i suck at coloring.
just do alot of backgrounds, i suggest when you watch your fav cartoon show and have some cool backgrounds, try to draw them really fast, you may found some good results doing it.

i really like your lineart with his coloring! but your lineart particularly is well balanced and proportional in this, and it helps make great coloring if the lineart is very well done too! my fav piece by you yet! even in collab. good job!

definitly helps. i experimented w/ that on two pieces (gear runner and USA handygirl) ... and each one i used a diff style w/ it but... its definitly neat to use. i love the clean after effect.
