After a period of watching animes like Tekkaman, Evangelion, and most anything inspired by Matsumi Obari, it seems like girls and armor defending the earth from alien demon invasions seems to be something of a theme (ROFLMAO!) Anyway, Gundam girls and the Gainax bounce converge on Robotech and an assorted number of other epic works, and I come up with this:

A laser-sword bearing cutie is the last stand of mankind against the coming alien threat. Powering her quest is a fantastic armor discoverd in an ancient alien wreckage. The object of her defense is the alien forces' very goal: to retrieve the sentient armor and bring it back to their homeworld in another galaxy to be destroyed as the ultimate symbol against the underground forces rebeling against the tyranical alien occupation. Who made it she is unsure, but her answers lie in the very place she dreads to be: the foreign homeworld.
