Meanwhile, back at the throne of the Devil's Casino. The Devil was waiting impatiently for King Dice to return, until his said "no good-for-nothing lackey" entered the throne without catching a single morsel of food."Did you get the turkey?" Devil asked, unamused. "It's been awhile since you were out and I can still remember the time those mugs burned the soul contracts to free the others from my evil wrath!"
"Well, I tried to convince them. But the boys are just playin' hard to get." Dice replied. "So, don't you worry. I'm gonna get that turkey tonight without them noticin'!"
"Alright." Devil unwillingly agreed. "But you better steal it before sunrise or I'll have YOU as the main course on Thanksgiving!"
"Anything for the boss." Dice said with a cute grin.
Dice quickly went out of the throne and into his room. He dived into the closet and changed into his burglar clothes. He went to the mirror and said to his reflection, "Alright, Dicie. Time to steal the Devil a genuinely plump turkey for the holidays."
Then, he rushed out of the Devil's Casino right over to the home of Elder Kettle and his two boys. Before anyone caught him in the act, he hid into one of the bushes at the front side of the house and waited until nighttime.
