MYOS ARE CLOSED AT THIS TIME!! They may open again in the future but right now please do not make a Chimereon MYO! Thank you!!
These are common things that people ask me about in relation to Chimereon MYOs, or certain design things that we see really commonly happen in applications and we always feel really bad asking people to change the art they've already worked really hard on. So hopefully this image helps people understand a little more about Chimereons, and what things are allowed/not allowed for MYO designs! I may add more to this later because I'm sure there was something I forgot about lol. But in the meantime, I hope this helps someone out!

it depends on the type of Chimereon you have (MYO, adopt).
usually we only allow small color tweaks with the saturation and brightness, but you cannot change the hue.
for example, you can't change a purple to a red, but you can make the purple more or less saturated or dark/bright.

Would it be possible for me to remove a colour? and if so could I just do that and buy a new one in the shop?

no sadly you can't remove a color completely. we'll most likely have an item like that in the future but for now you can only buy colors or tweak them slightly.

Hereβs a tutorial! Youβre gonna have to use an internet browser on your phone to join however. dA mobile isnβt very user friendly for groups.
How to join the group on moblieIt's come to our attention that a lot of our members are mobile users and are unsure of how to officially join the group, so we've decided to make a small tutorial on how to do so!
This is very important to do because you can't submit any artwork to folders other than the Featured gallery if you aren't a member (and anything submitted there is declined). A lot of people mistake 'watching' the group as officially becoming a member, so hopefully this will clear up some confusion.
This is what it should look like on your screen when you're viewing the group on mobile (this screenshot is from an iPhone, so it's smaller than what it would look like on a tablet).
If you scroll ALL the way down to the bottom of the page, there's an option to "Switch to Desktop Site". This will make it so you view DeviantArt as if you were on a computer!

Iβm sorry but you arenβt allowed to completely redesign your MYO once itβs approved. Only minimal design changes such as saturating/desaturating colors or changing patterns are allowed.Β

No Iβm sorry. You canβt make Chimereons outside of group boundaries and MYOs arenβt available at the moment. Itβs a closed species, after all, which means you canβt make your own without following the rules.
