MYOS ARE CLOSED AT THIS TIME!! They may open again in the future but right now please do not make a Chimereon MYO! Thank you!!
These are common things that people ask me about in relation to Chimereon MYOs, or certain design things that we see really commonly happen in applications and we always feel really bad asking people to change the art they've already worked really hard on. So hopefully this image helps people understand a little more about Chimereons, and what things are allowed/not allowed for MYO designs! I may add more to this later because I'm sure there was something I forgot about lol. But in the meantime, I hope this helps someone out!

They are optional, you don't have to. But you have to stick with herpian, (If your choosing that... no fur with scales together.) Anyways, it says you CAN. Meaning it's an option and not a MUST. Meaning you have to. All you need to do is have it based off of a reptile or a amphibian!

I have two questions!
Q1: If you want to do a huge redesign of your chimereon (like I mean a massive change) do you still have to follow the myo guidelines?
Q2: Are we now allowed to have horns, or is it just if we get the horns from the shop?

at this time massive redesigns are not allowed but i've been trying to figure out how to add that into the group for later. it might take a while to integrate this feature though, so we ask that you take care when designing your MYO since at this time you only get one.

essentially. yes. lots of these kinds of things exist with differing creatures most would call, an original species. A creature someone has created themselves and is sharing the concept with others so they can create one as well.

Theyre super cute, and your art is fantastic! But like. I guess I dont see the appeal of the open (sorry i didnt realize i said closed lol) species things. why not just make my own oc with no limitations? not to be rude, im just interested!

and a majority of people make their own OCs however they want with no limitations. but i guess part of the appeal of a species is mostly in the community, and being around others who also enjoy the species or the group.
maybe they just like the design/concept of the species, or some other reasons. i'm not exactly sure!
but the community is definitely really fun imo and i love seeing everyone draw their Chimereon or having them interact with other people's Chimereons.

it is also just part of a trait sheet to show some limitations of the species i created.

I do have a question about eyes though.
If I make one, I kinda wanna model her after an existing character. Said character has a damaged eye, and it's paler in color because of it. Would I be able to apply the same thing to a cham, or just remove the iris entirely from that eye? (if it helps, she's blind in that eye)
If those aren't possible, would I be able to make it so the damage forced her eye closed?

the two different colourations might be an issue, but damaged or blind eyes are allowed! having the eye missing, blank, or closed are good alternatives i thinkΒ ^^
