Personality: Shy until you get to know her. She would rather have one or two close friends than a big group. She's often quiet, and you rarely hear or see her walking toward you. She doesn't mind being unnoticed; it's been that way all her life.
History: She lived in a crowded city and hated it, so she decided to run away from home. Her parents both had died when she was young, and she lived with her aunt who rarely noticed her around her home.

Sakura: "I'd like to be a ninja. I like just observing and not being very noticed, so I think it would be fitting."

Alegria: "Oh. My Papa used to be a Ninja. He's who taught me to hunt. He and my Mama keep a farm in a clearing just outside the city. I'm a Hunter, because I can stay for weeks in the woods without seeing people for a really long time!"

Sakura: "That's very impressive... I'm not sure what my parents did for a living... My aunt wouldn't tell me. I only have a picture of the three of us when I was two."

Alegria: "That's so sad! I have a Papa and a Mama and my brother Marcus. I don't know what I'd do without them! Hey, you could come live with us!"

Alegria stood up and started walking, calling over her shoulder "Come on, silly!"
She led her to a clearing where a house stood supported by two tall trees, in the branches. On the east and west two fields, with corn and wheat growing, were set, and mushrooms grew in small patches under the house. "Those are papas. He has special ones he sells to the ninjas. The others we eat." She led her up a path of riverstones, to a rope ladder that led up. "Come on up, to see my Mama and Papa!"

They stood on a platform outside of the actual house. A lady Stantler, who looked like Alegria with shorter hair and antlers, was weaving a basket while a male Grumpig grilled mushrooms at a small fireplace.
"This is my mama and my papa, Saya and Hege. Mama, Papa, this is Sakura! I met her in the woods. Can she have our spare room?"
Saya and Hege glanced at each other, familiar with Alegria's freezing up in front of new people. "Well. What do you do?" asked Hege, standing and dusting off his hands.

Sakura quietly answered, "Um, I'm a ninja, but I've worked on my aunt's farm all my life." She shuffled her feet a little nervously.

Hege smiled happily. "I was once a ninja. You may stay, but only if you promise to help out!" He was proud of his daughter for making a friend.

"Oh, you don't have to worry. Even if you didn't ask me to help out, I would. It's the way I was raised," Sakura said. "Thank you very much for even allowing me to stay with you." She bowed respectfully to him.

Hege bowed back, smiling at Saya.
"Welcome to the family, Sakura!" said Alegria, hugging the Grovyle.

She blushed, not used to the friendly affection. "Th-thanks!"

Alegria laughed, pulling her inside by the hand. "Let's get you a room! Ignore Marcus. Marcus, this is our new sister, Sakura!"
A boy of about twelve sat on a seat, reading. He looked up, smiled, and went back to the book.
