O.R.B.[ Oscillation Router : Backhaul ]
A small metallic sphere with a single antenna intended to provide a wireless connection. It is equipped with optics, wheels, and speeds up to 15MPH [25KPH].
ORB is an oscillation router, which extends its battery life by using power generated from the energy fluctuations that are housed within the core of ORB.
It is designed to have extremely versatile mobility. ORB's wheels and axles are dual purpose, becoming bendable legs and stable feet when stationary.
When drained, ORB's 'eyes' will change colors from blue to yellow to red (not pictured) before it powers down and disables connectivity.
ORB functions as a meshed connection to it's core network, allowing wireless backhaul and guaranteeing a connection in remote areas.
It is built to be a mobile connectivity point, allowing it's user to access the mainframe in any location.
ORB likes to go fast and has a tendency to see if it can break it's personal best of 16MPH.
If you own an O.R.B. it is advised to keep it away from ramp-like surfaces.
Collisions between ORB and stationary objects is not covered by warranty.
