I've had 30+ playthroughs with my Sentinel and stayed faithful to Liara in every one. That last scene in ME3 tears me up.

I've had a lot playthroughs too, but tried some different combinations. But in the most cases I choose Liara.

No, the Extended Cut sucks, because without it, EDE survives.
I mean the little speech she gives Liara before they part when she makes the run to the Citadel. It's the only time in the ME games that Shepard loses all her self-control, and Jen Hale does a beautiful job with it.
(The closing scene where Liara decides not to put Shepard's name on the death wall is also beautiful...)
And yes, I play far too much ME. Mostly with my first character!

I think EDI dies in the original end too. Parts of her are reaper tech.
It was not so obvious in the original. But the farewell scenes were well done indeed.
I can't say anything about the English speaker, cause I play the localized German version.
And if you still have fun after so many playthroughs, then everything is fine.

No, Edie survives without the Extended bit. One of the developers said so categorically, that she wasn't made of any reaper tech. They then retconned that for the Extended thing.
So in my preferred game, she lives and the reapers die.

If I remember correctly, during the attack on the cerberus hq, Shepard found a video log,
where TIM said to a scientist, that he should combine some reaper tech from the
sovereign with the lunar VI.

Yes, but one of the devs expressly said initially that they didn't actually make her with reaper tech. Almost everything Illusive Man says is a lie, in any case, he's hardly a reliable witness.
But they retconned that, which is why I don't use the Extended ending, which is fairly lame anyway.

I'm always a little skeptical when afterwards a developer affirms something.
But I think in some ways EDI could have survived.
It wasn't even shown if only the mech body or/and the AI aboard the Normandy was destroyed/killed.

I understand why they did that to Legion, but it seemed weird to do it to Edi.
But then, the whole ending (after Anderson dies) sucks

I think there's no perfect end. If all would survive, it wouldn't be okay too.
Depending on who dies, there are certainly people who aren't satisfied with the end.
And who wants that EDI survive, let Shepard die.

I don't mind topless images as long as they aren't made to be porn if I'm honest. though my uncle and auntie in germany have playboy calendars in the bathroom and while I've heard some call it porn to me it was tasteful looking women in sexy poses.
