Oh man, I forgot about this guy.He is probably mad at Sanus (his best friend) getting into some troubles.
Moonshadow during the war fell into a decepticons trap. His body was totally destroyed and he nearly died back then. Nearly, because he was saved by the space pirates scavenging the battlefields for parts to sell. They found Moon and saved his life. They even rebuild his body. He stayed with the pirates for some time, eventually he become a bounty hunter. He never came back on Cybertron again.
