I CAN EXPLAIN! REALLY!A month or so ago I was randomly watching Project Runway on TV and seeing them ladies go by with various outfits. One design in particular was a bikini-looking outfit with a semi-transparent adjustable 'skirt'. Thing. I thought hey, that looks kinda neat... I wanna draw something like that...
- A month goes by-
- Discovers the wonderful game Portal-
Man I love this game, I want to draw fanart! Oh yeah, I never got around to that bikini picture... Well, Chell is a girl....... o_o!
Sooooo yeah. xD I'm sure *somewhere* in this huge facility there's bound to be a nice vanity room and walk-in closet sporting a complete designer wardrobe, right?! 8) And I wonder if GLaDOS has a sleep mode. she probably wouldn't let anyone sit on her otherwise...
I tweaked the size proportions a bit. GLaDOS is actually a lot bigger compared to Chell. At least, it seems that way when I change to third person view ingame.
Critique discouraged cause I've been trying to make this picture long enough to the point that I'd be too tired/frustrated to fix anything else. @_@ Unless it's a tip that can apply to future artistic endeavors... xD 'Tis all a learning process!

Yeah, it says Chell in the credits so a lot of people consider it to be what her name is.

Near the end of the credits ([link] about 2:50 in this vid) it says "Thanks for the use of their face; Alesia Glidewell - Chell) It's a pretty loose reference IMO, but being stuck in a deadly maze can make someone's features worse for the wear. xP

Yep! A bit tweaky though since it keeps the camera aimed at the back of Chell's head all the same (there's probably some way around that but I don't know the code) If you enable the developer's console in the main Options, you can activate it in-game with the '~' button. Type in the following lines, pressing enter after each line:
sv_cheats 1
thirdperson
and then ~ again, and the code 'firstperson' will take you back.

This is how it goes in the PC version, not sure if it's the same for other platforms.
From the main menu, go to Options>Keyboard>Advanced and check the 'enable developer console'. When you're in-game, if you press the ~ key it brings up a dialog box. Type sv_cheats 1 and enter, then type thirdperson and hit enter, it should change to third person view (it's a little weird, IMO, cause you're stuck behind Chell). You can change it back by going back to the console and inputting firstperson.
