Description
The flying islands soar over a sea of inky black mist, the islands drift in their own patterns and orbits, weaving around the sky and changing which islands are reach-able week to week.Long distance flight just uses too much magic to be feasible, it's much better to travel with the winds and reach an island nearby.
Each Hexagon represents an area with a radius about 200km (line of sight to the horizon), and each week an island will travel one hexagon along its path.
Islands in the same hexagon can be seen from one another, and travelled to with standard airships. The numbers indicate the number of weeks required for the an island on the path to complete a loop.
This is the northern hemisphere, outside of the A path, there is not enough wind to travel, it would be too risky to try and get to the other side of the world, if there even is one. Not to mention, with how the sun is positioned, it would be dark and cold there.
