The Summer is still young yet, there's still plenty of time to stay cool while catching a couple rays and a good wave or two!
This idea had popped into my head earlier in the summer after I'd drawn Sherwood in his Pajamas, I figured since I'd decided what his hands and feet looked like under his gloves and boots that I might as well use those parts of his design for something.
So what better way then for a beach trip!
Truth be told, the reason why I wanted to draw Sherwood out on the open water is because I wanted to draw him in Noisy Hawaiian Shirts. XD
I have a ton of shirts like this myself, since I work in 80°-90° degree temperatures outside and 100°+ degree temperatures in the green house I like to wear Hawaiian shirts because the material they're made out of is really thin so it's much easier to work in hot conditions in them than it would in a cotton or polyester shirt.
Not to mention almost all of them have lovely Hibiscus and other tropical flowers on them so they're perfectly appropriate for my line of work!
Sherwood naturally has a similar shirt here, but with a bit of a fruity twist.
This was a really fun piece to work on, and I'm really happy with how it turned out, especially the water!
