Gideon's Abilities: A Primer.

Press (X) to Drop an Anvil from the Sky.
Anvils can be used to activate switches or as temporary platforms. use this to reach out of the way places!

In battle Gideon can throw Pies at enemies with his Pie Toss attack, or drop Anvils on them with his Anvil Slam ability.

Attacks:
Pie Toss: Hold the control stick back and then flick it to forward to Throw a pie at Frontline enemies. (Can also hit Flying Foes)
Anvil Slam: Flick the control stick down as you run past an enemy to drop an Anvil on them.

Decoy Deploy: Follow the control stick prompts on screen to draw a Decoy Mario for enemies to attack.
Safe Landing: Flick the control stick down as you run past enemies to drop a large Safe on them. Can hit multiple enemies & sometimes an item will pop out!

With how much of an influence the Paper Mario games (Thousand Year Door specifically) have had on my art over the years, I thought it'd be fun to take another stab at Imitating their art style, and man am I happy with how this turned out!
And while I was at it, I started thinking about how my Caricature would work as a Partner...

Also, I'm really excited for Origami King!
I know some people have their doubts, but personally, from what I've seen so far, I think it's gonna be good!
It seems as if Partners are back, which is great because they were one of my favorite parts of previous games. and while I wish they had a bit more vissual personality to set them apart from other characters of the same species, I'll gladly take basic partners over no partners at all.
