SW-Omni-Sonic
Here is Omni Sonic, a mixture of all the forms that Sonic has had to this point. By using all the Crystals of Light together, they fused the forms into one that Reptillious himself can't beat.
This form has the all the attributes of the forms and more but at a price. Without the Spectrum Crystal, the Crystals of Light are unstable and are using Sonic as a stabilizer, thus feeding off his energy. If he stays in this form for too long, Sonic won't have enough energy to stay alive...

I changed his palette to go with a "lighter Sonic" motif and not as blinding.

Two actually. There are at least three total forms that could come from the Crystals:

Have you considered implementing Omni Sonic (and your other characters and creations) into a story (or something along those lines)? (Or are you already doing that and I'm just not noticing?)

Actually, I do have ideas for the stories for the forms, characters, and other concepts but it has been very slow going. None of the stories are up.

That is correct sir. This form is a combination of Super, Hyper, and Darkspine on a light Sonic base. The Crystals of Light couldn't give Sonic a form outright, like the Chaos Emeralds, so they worked with what he got.

So did you use a brush to create the flames? What program did you use
and how did you learn to shade?

I used Adobe Flash for this animated picture. The flames are the result of blurring a symbol that carries the animation, and the symbol is just two simple two prong flames that each have radial gradients that go from white to cyan with thick blue outlines.
I learned how to shade by experimenting with my then-new Macromedia Flash. I taught my brother how to use the program and we have been working with it ever since. He whipped this up: How It's Made - Hazard Edition . It explains how we produce our pictures.

Nice transformation, even though Sonic have to give up something to maintain the form.

Fortunately it is like the Emerald/Crystal energy transfer I mentioned earlier, but with a living being. Once Sonic stops using them in time, the energy the Crystals "barrowed" will go back to Sonic. He will feel groggy for awhile, but he'll recover.

Hey nice job there! You know, I kind of thought of the idea 'Omni Sonic' too, he was supposed to have all the types of different elemental energy hence the word 'Omni', and his skin was shining pure white and had a visible color spectrum aura around him.
