Third in a series of three. 1: [link] 2: [link]This is my personal fav of the three I've uploaded tonight.
From my first year of Figure Drawing class. My only year of Figure Drawing class for that matter.
Jus posting this, and the other two pictures, to prove that I can draw in a style other than 'anime'. Surprise surprise. Not that anyone will be interested since it's not a big breasted cartoon
Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to view them. I mean it.

Really? How long are your classes? I'd hate to have a class any shorter than 2 hours coz by tha time you've written in yer workbooks the days lesson, done a few 5 and 15 minute warm ups, you'd have no time left to do a big piece u_u But a 3 hour class can be a tad testing at times x_X

Classes are 3 hours long. the last pose was a half an hour but after 2 1/2 hours of 5 and ten minute poses, i was too tired to really spend the time in the 1/2 hour one -_- maybe next time.
plus the guy was MOVING the whole time! one second his arm was blocking his chest, the next minute I see a boobeh!
its so annoying. and its like drawing a box --- men have very little shape except his beer belley.

I only wish I'd finishd tha feet! I dunno what I was smoking that day. I mean c'mon. They are tha main part of tha piktuah and they are pure unfinished line. But I still like it

I love drawing feet. And hands. Everyone seems to be scared of drawing them thou. Which is understandable coz they are freaky looking, especially in perspective x_X

I'm really bad when it comes to detail. We'll be given 15 mintues to do "a quick warm up sketch of the entire body" and the tutor will get round to me and at the 14th minute I'm still working on an arm with lots of tendons and shit. Tha tutor jus laughs at me thou. I dunno if that's a good thing or not o_o I get totally absorbed in the 1hr 45min drawings thou. I jus get lost in tha moment. By the end it feels like I was only drawing for 10 minutes. How long were your poses held for? Do you have any art up from your classes?

Hun, you are FAR from bad. My instructor would of LOVED you, for all the detail you put into your pieces.
We did those warm-up sketches, too. And I could do it... but was damn tempted from the beginning to add in the details. They do that, so you can get a rough idea of area and structure, before actually constructing the figure as the final piece.
Um... well, the poses were usually held for a class, which lasted five hours total - three in the morning, one and a half in the afternoon. By then, we'd usually be finished. 'Less it was a painting - then we'd have to wing it when we got back to the dorms. ^^'
And no, I don't. 'Cause they're all so big. :/
Only in my Illus. class, are some of my pieces about the size of my scanner, but I don't like them very much to show anyone else. n_n

As for that knee... yah anime has tainted meeeeeh... I can't draw 'real' now without puttin in odd anime-type angles. At least I haven't given any of my models huge pony tails of bright pink hair X3

Nice perspective work on the feet. ^ ^ god... I hate anatomy drawing classes... they take sooooo long! -.-; But, it seems your getting something out of 'em, so, keep up the coolness!

The toes! The wonderful toes! And the feet! ANd the angle of the legs! GAH! Here I am at... almost two am, and you have to go and wow me when I'm half coherant. Blarg. These deserve far better comments than the ramblings I"m spilling out... but I cannot think of the words...
