|edit| wow, a daily deviation, i couldn't believe it when i first saw it *__* thank you to everyone who left lovely comments or +fav'd it~ btw, 'ebi' = 'shrip' in japanese~
this was originally just a bit of a doodle that got out of hand, but after the wonderful response i received from everyone i decided to fix up her wrist, make her hand a bit smaller, and use the image as the cover of my exhibition calendar.

This is a lovely peace! The colors are truely complimenting and there's a nice movement throughout the picture thanks to that backgorund. It's pretty cool how you have this concept in general and even the few specks of rice coming off the sushi is nifty. Love the pice, it's truely great. :3

thanks man! yeah, i tried really hard to get the colours to work coz colour isn't one of my strengths X3 it was especially hard with that busy background not to lose the whole piece

You're welcomed. Yeah, colors can be a pain sometimes but that's what's so nice about complimentary colors, you can rely on them. @_@ Aye, busy background, but the movement isn't chaotic, it's like the DD thing says; like waves.

i didn't like it much at first... and my wimpy boyfriend even used to peel the seaweed off from around the sushi rolls before he'd even eat them... but now we both love it. try it sometime!
