It actually is my favourite screen in Link's Awakening. The DX version for Gameboy Color is the best version of the screen and game. Swich remake is very cute, but not my favourite. I just got Koholint done in Dargon Quest Builders 2 made (twice, because GBC and switch variants both), then finished the map cross stitch and always wanted to make this after the map so now I've been making it for few days. I don't even know why it's my favourite screen, but it just looks good. Woods, water, hill and a secret cave. It has everything in it. Even the owl statue! Not actually a fan of the inside of the cave, but it doesn't take long so I never hated it. Just a little boring with quick enemies. But it's a side quest to get Bow wow so it's okay and kind of fun to do before the next dungeon. Big Moblin doesn't even take much effort so never hated it. Easy and funish.

I'm actually thinking about makinf the Souther face Shrine mural next (and last) as a cross stitch. And stopping to these three, because these are rather big things that requires counting which I'm not very good at. I've made so many mistakes with this and needed to undo parts and redo them again one or two stitches to another direction so yeah. Not my favourite pastime, but not too bad. I at least get good looking stuff from it.
