I can't believe I haven't commented on this yet, I saw this a week ago and was gushing about how unbelievably gooood it is. *g* The painty fading and washed out colors is just so perfect for the mood of the piece.

That is one gorgeous color scheme. I LOVE it. That, with the brushstrokes, give this so much atmosphere. The face is so beautiful and kind of haunting, and I love that you put fingers at the bottom rather than having the entire body just fade away.

aw so great, i love the colors that usually dont seem to fit but in this pic are combined into something beautiful. great skill while using that blurring effect and deciding what to leave detailed and sharp

Wow...how do you pick out these colors and put them together? I can never seem to be able to figure out colors for a painting and make them blend together smoothly to form a nice gradient, like you do. You use a tablet, right?
