This is really beautiful and caught my eye. So I figure I would write you a crit.

Starting with the positive points, I think this is really stunning. Your colour choices really work well together. The blues and purple hues make me think of deep water and mystery, very fitting. I like the patterns on the shell too. They seem to glow like those deep sea fish you see sometimes. The anatomy looks really spot on too.

In terms of what you could work on I only have small thing in mind. Some more textures, highlights and shadows might make it even prettier. Honestly though it looks great. You could add a background I guess but again I think this is great how it is.
