I have a lot of those where I live too! I also get scared of stepping on them.
Although I haven't seen them lately. Pssh. Might be Global Warming.

too cute. reminds me of the frogs at frog lake in oregon. you can barely walk without stepping on them. the jump in waves when you step.

you got a lake near your house? XD
I'd love to have frogs aplenty in my yard! keeps the insect pests at bay.

Nice! Probably a toad in actuality, just enjoying a bit of free body heat from your hand.

Nice photo! Evrytime, and I mean every time I step on something crunchy-sounding in spring, I check to see if I've stepped on a snail or something, ever since I killed one of the poor suckers. Bloody OCD :<
We had a frog infestation at my old secondary school.. the primary schoolers would take home the tadpoles sometimes (even though they obviously didn't know how to take care of them xD!). Friendly things, though

We used to have a similar problem around my old high school every spring. But they were caterpillars not frogs. And almost everywhere you'd step there'd be either a caterpillar trying to cross the sidewalk or the squishy remains of one that got smushed during our break times. And one of my friends was so terrified of stepping on one that all you'd have to say is "SMUSH!" and she'd freak out. Thanks for the trip down memory lane <3

Awwww how cute , i was at a party and for some reason we kept hearing this loud cat/bird call thing and it went on and on for hours and after given up on finding it, something darted onto my friends shouler, i guess frogs can sound like cats or birds when its mating season XD haha

that's cool , didja hear about the story of the meowing frog? I guess some lady thought there was a cat stuck in her chimney so she called the fire department and they came and knocked it down and it turned out to be just a meowing frog sitting on a trapped twig XD. its crazy the sounds they made
