i found this little guy when i was walking home a few days ago. there are HUNDREDS of them around our house, just hanging out XDi nearly step on them each time i go outside and it terrifies me XD
but this little guy was very friendly and sat on my hand for quite a while :3

When I was very little I visited my grandparent's house in the middle of the USA and I caught a little frog like this. I named him and bought a bug container for him I put lots of rocks for him to climb, dirt for him to crawl and even a little water in the like a pool. He was such a cute little frog that I considered him my little best friend. He wasn't very happy though. He escaped from his clear plastic box and I seached for him crying because I though he was too small to find again. I found him though tangled in a cobb web and rescued him. But even though I was only 6 I knew the reason why he ran away was because he didn't like being locked up so I went back to where I found he in a safe spot on a field and let him go. Every few days afterward I would go out into the field and find him play with him a little but let him be free.
True story.

A freshly metamorphosed american toad (most likely). Cute little guy. I've got them running (or hopping I should say) around my house as well. This is the time of year they start crawling out of the water and living it up.
