nope! not at all. the first week or so my taste buds didnt seem too happy but now they are just fine :3

i believe people generally grow more taste buds in between the two halves. your tongue is sort of like a star fish, if it can't heal itself (which we don't want it to heal back together in this case) it will grow more parts of itself. star fishes can grow their arms back, & joji can grow more taste buds. it's a win win situation. you look fabulous, with more taste buds (:

I'm glad that it's healing so well. I know that it's somewhat common for folks who get their tongue split to have to go through the procedure once or twice more because their tongue ends up healing back together a bit. It looks good, though!
