As a Christian I totally understand this. My cousin just announced last year that she was a lesbian. My family was crushed and my godmother (who is her cousin as well) stated that Bri was going to Hell because she was a Lesbian. I went on to say that I didn't think it was an unforgivable sin. We had a very long argument over the fact that I don't believe God would send Bri to hell just because she lives in sin. I have several friends from all walks of life. I could never say that just because they've chosen a different life that they're going to hell. It's good that your parents understand and love you.

You are from diffrent region. When Soviet Union excited, then the religion was dug out from culture. And it's stayed like that in Europe. And it's not that sad. Sometimes it helps ppl to live.
I don't belive in god or something. But I accept those who belive and I won't go and say what they to is sad..

Christianity is a good thing, it's just the way that alot of scripture can be interpreted to mean things that it doesn't and can be used as ammunition to make others feel bad. If we want to live strictly by the Bible that means we have to love EVERYONE. Jesus never told a single person that was caught in sin that they had to die and were going to hell because of their sin. He always gave them an out. I think that in all religions there are those who take it too far and too much out of context. There are extremists in every religion.

Christians get a bad rap when it comes to gay rights, but there are plenty of us out there who love and support the LGBT community and recognize them as equal members of God's creation.

great way to state your position, however:
remember that bullying doesn't happen to just gays. it happens to everyone. we all should stop bullying in whatever way we can, for all our kids, black, white, latino, asian, tall, short, fat, skinny, blonde, brunette... you get my drift.
